Lupa's Zoo

Today was Columbus Day and since I was going to be having Marley for the day and Janelle has Monday's off, I asked Janelle if she and Mason would like to go to Lupa's Zoo with us. Mark had to study so he wasn't able to come. I can't believe that we never got to Lupa's this summer. It was the day after going to the pumpkin patch and it was just as hot, a little odd for this time of year, high 80's again!

Look at Mason with those sunglasses on. Hysterical.

Mason wasn't too sure of the big parrot. He was pretty loud!

We fed the animals.

Marley has always loved sitting on the "fake" animals. Mason not so much. We tried to convince him that they weren't real.

He was okay once Marley and Janelle were with him.

Marley took her yearly photo with this little bear.

This is the first time she had her picture with this little bear. She was 2 years old, the same age Mason is now. I tried to get him to pose with the little bear; no way.

A couple of cute pictures of Mason.

Because it was so hot, the animal smells were quite potent.

They went up to see the giraffe, but the giraffe wouldn't come over to the platform. It was probably a good thing. Mason didn't really like it up there.

We took a rest to pat one of the cats that roam the zoo before we left.

We saw this guy on our way out. I wonder why he had the straw over his face?

Another great time at Lupa's Zoo!
