Westview Farms
Today we took our annual trip to Westview Farms, a.k.a. the pumpkin patch. This was the second year that Janelle's parents, Stacia and Joe, and sister Amy were able to meet us there.
We have been there in such a gamut of weather from cold rain, to high
80's. Today was a beautiful, if not too warm, day. It's just that when you think of pumpkin patch you think crisp fall day. Not so today - 80's.
I got the kids to pose with me near a big pumpkin sign.....
We were able to hunt for the perfect pumpkin.....
We went on the hayride.....
and looked for more perfect pumpkins.....
We had some of their famous ice cream (so good on such a hot day).....
The kids played.....
and tried to feed the goats. They weren't hungry which is almost unheard of for goats. I think it was too hot!
I love this picture. As we were leaving Marley wanted me to take a picture of.....
a grasshopper!
Baba cleaned our pumpkins (he's famous for that) and we headed home.
You couldn't have asked for a better day!
