Paul's cousin Sheila lives on the beach in Quincy, MA. Every year for many years she has had an Easter Egg Hunt in her yard. This is the third year that we have gone. What luck that the weather cooperated. It was an absolutely beautiful day, cool and windy, but the sun was strong. As usual, Sheila had her house decorated beautifully with all kinds of Easter decorations. The fruit bouquets were a real hit (especially with Marley), she had pizza and all kinds of goodies. The kids had the Easter egg hunt and got baskets from the "Easter Bunny." One of the biggest hits with the kids was putting a marshmallow Peep into the microwave oven to see it "blow up" (it didn't actually blow up, it just got real big, and then sort of deflated). She really puts a lot into this day. It's always nice to see the family - Big Baba's sisters Eleanor and Nancy were there, along with Sheila's sister Pam. After the festivities, the kids usually play in the yard or go down to the beach, another hit with Marley. Her and Toby got their feet wet; Marley got a little more than her feet wet (what good is a beach if you can't go in the water?). A friend of the family, Penny's great-grandson was there and Kyle and Marley always have a good time playing. I can't imagine how neat it would be to live right on the beach. Thanks, Sheila, for sharing it with us at least once a year!
