Bennington Potters and Yankee Candle

Christmas shopping was a good excuse for a nice ride to Bennington Potters and Yankee Candle. Both of them are decorated so beautifully at Christmas time. Bennington Potters in Bennington, VT is located in an old factory which they now use to make the pottery. There is a building next to the factory, an old schoolhouse, which is the entrance to Bennington Potters. The picture above is a little alcove when you first walk through door. It is so cute. The moose and the cow look like they have their heads through the windows.

I took this picture on our way out. I thought it looked so pretty.

Then we headed to Yankee Candle. It actually wasn't too crowded since we got there at 7 o'clock and they close at 8 o'clock. The Bavarian Village was so pretty; "snow" every 4 minutes!!!

Paul took some pictures of the villages that were set up.

It was a fun day, and I actually did get some Christmas shopping done.

I also took some pictures of post offices along the way. I am amazed at just how different they all are!
