Today I started putting up my Christmas decorations, which is early for me. It seems so weird to be doing this on a Wednesday afternoon.
This manger scene is by far my favorite decoration. It was given to me by my mother-in-law years ago. I just love it!

That is adorable, right down to that cute little lamb. When Anne & I were young we had a manger that my Dad made. It was always very special to put the baby in the crib on Christmas morning.

Lin, the little lamb is on wheels. It is supposed to be a child's version of the Nativity. I think that is what makes it so cute.
My Dad did not make the figures, just the manger. I unfortunately don't have it anymore...in regretful retrospect, wish I did. (Too late smart...)But things are things that fade away, and memories will always be with us :) I will always have those memories!
