This is Nan (my grandmother) and Dot (my aunt) on Thanksgiving Day 2000. It was the last time that Nan was at my house. She was 99, and would turn 100 on January 12, 2001. She passed away a little over four months later. I miss her all the time, but especially on the holidays.

I totally understand what you mean...Holidays are about family, and when I think of Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving, they were always big family get togethers, with lots of wonderful memories, and wonderful pictures to look back on. We have to remind ourselves that "we" are now in charge of making memories, and you are certainly doing a wonderful job with your blog and scrap booking!
