The Baritone Horn

Marley has decided that she is going to now play the Baritone Horn in the school band. She told me that she didn't really like playing the trumpet and her band teacher suggested the Baritone Horn. He said he had a couple of them available.

Today was the first day that she got to bring it home and she played what she knew for me tonight after church.

So....there is a band concert next Wednesday night. I'd say she has some practicing to do.

Look at that case.



She is going to get some arm muscles carrying that thing around!

Marley's trumpet

Marley came home from school a few days after it started saying she had joined the band. She was going to play the saxophone because not many people were playing it. Well, there was some confusion or problem with getting a sax so last Wednesday she came home with a trumpet!



Thursday night after Open House at her school we went back to Kris and Toby's and she played her trumpet for us. Mason loved it. He laughed when she played it and wanted to play it too. Marley let him blow on it. I took a video of her playing. She has good air to blow it.





When she came over tonight she brought it and played us what she knew. Big Baba has never been fond of loud music, but he loved listening to her!

We decided that she would bring it over every Friday night and show us what she learned that week!
