Happy 43rd birthday Mark!

The other day I was talking with Mason about starting 3rd grade.  I showed him this picture of his father when he started 3rd grade, in the same school that Mason is going to.

This was the same grade where Mark crossed his eyes during the class picture!

He thought it was so funny!  Obviously, I didn't.  Raising boys is no joke!

Happy birthday Mark!

May 2017 Scrapbook Pages

I realized recently that I had not "documented" Big Minnie!

Bingo Fundraiser for the Robotics Team.  So much fun!

Marley marching in the Memorial Day Parade this year.

Marley's birthday shopping this year.

Mason's 1st birthday shopping this year.

Mason chose Marley again this year for his "special person" for the Granger Gala.

Working on some old scrapbook pages.

1973 - I'm still working on getting all of our pets, past and present documented!  This was the first cat that Paul and I had after buying our house.

Throwback Thursday (Tuesday) - 5th grade

Today is Marley's last day of 5th grade. Next year she goes to Middle School....sigh!

It got me thinking of last days of school for Kristen and Mark, and also myself. I remember the excitement of the last day of school.

This is Kristen in 5th grade - 1982...

and this is Marley in 5th grade - 2011

I know it sounds like such a cliche, but it really is true that time flies!

Happy last day of school Marley!

Mason's breakthrough at Prims

Mark is back in school, and already tomorrow he has an exam....So, Mason came to Prims with Grandma tonight.

Last semester I brought him a few times and it was "huggy grandma" which meant he wanted to be picked up. I had to carry him around the whole night.

Not so tonight! We had a real breakthrough. He didn't ask to be picked up once, although a couple of times he would look for me and say "Hi Grandma."

He sat at the table with the girls and colored, and he even sat in the circle for story.

Good thing.... I have a feeling that he will become a regular this semester as Mark has his "clinical" on Wednesdays from 7 am to 7 pm!
