Getting ready for the "crop"

I spent the better part of the day today getting ready for the scrapbooking crop at my friend Janice's house. Always a fun time!

Alice's pig t-shirt

Alice is one of the girls at the crop I go to every month. She collects pigs. Today she showed up in this pig t-shirt and announced that this was going to be her crop shirt (could it be because we basically eat all day while scrapping?).

Scrapbook crop

Today I went to my friend Janice's house for our monthly scrapbook crop. Janice had cataract surgery this week. She said her sunglasses were "comforting" because she was off-balance, only having one cataract done. She's having the other one done in two weeks.

We had a fun time today, as always. Janice and her sister Elaine are just the funniest people.

Tonight I was getting things ready to bring to a crop at my friend Janice's house. It's always a fun day!

324/365 - Janice's blueberry pie

Today I went to a scrapbooking crop. My friend Janice has been hosting crops at her house since 2005. We always have such a good time.

This picture was taken in 2008 before I started my blog. She had made a blueberry pie that didn't come out quite right. The bottom crust wasn't cooked through and the top had burned a little bit. The blueberries were good though. We were all hysterical over it. It's a good thing Janice is such a good sport!

We got talking about this pie today and I thought that the picture of Janice and her blueberry pie deserved to be shown.

This my friend Janice (your left) who hosts the (almost) monthly scrapbook crops, her sister Elaine and Elaine's granddaughter Madison. Janice and Elaine are two of the funniest ladies I have ever met. They sure keep things hopping. You never know what they are going to come out with!

269/365 - Another great crop day!

Today was another all day crop at my friend Janice's. When I took this picture not everyone was there yet. Lisa just about always has her own table, but she usually faces us. Today she set up with her back towards us. I wonder if she's trying to tell us something.:) Janice made a wonderful chicken dinner for us tonight. She is such a wonderful entertainer and she claims that she loves to do it. Thanks, Janice for another great crop day!

213/365 - Crop Shish Kebobs

Today was another scrapbook crop at my friend Janice's house. Her grandson enjoys cooking and very graciously agreed to cook chicken shish kebobs for us. They were wonderful. Thanks, Nick.

171/365 - Scrapbook Crop

Today was the scrapbook crop at my friend Janice's house. I started Baby Mason's scrapbook. Janice outdid herself with her menu today. For "brunch" she made a quiche, a broccoli souffle, fresh cut up fruit, and blueberry muffins. It was wonderful. Her husband Alan cooked out for us for dinner. Thanks, Janice (and Alan) for a great day!

Tonight I am frantically trying to get stuff together and pictures printed for the crop at my friend Janice's on Saturday. I always say I am not going to leave everything for the last few days, but guess what? I NEED MORE TIME!

66/365 - Nick at the scrapbook crop

Today I went to a scrapbooking crop at my friend Janice's house. This is a picture of her grandson Nick. Three of her grandchildren live nearby and they usually stop in sometime during the day when she has her all day crop. Nick, especially, seems to enjoy hanging out with us "old ladies." Here he is arranging some of Carole's scrapbook "stuff." When he is around, he is usually helping out in some way. Tonight he was vacuuming up after us, putting away tables, going to get food, etc. We love having you around Nick!!

This is a picture of the crop at my friend Janice's house. 7 people with all of their scrapbooking stuff, scrapping for about 10 hours. I LOVE IT!

All packed up and ready for Saturday's crop at my friend Janice's house. I love my LL Bean bags; it took me less than 5 minutes and I'm good to go!
