This is week #6 of Cathy Zielske's Hybrid Scrapbooking Class, and another page that is out of my comfort zone.
Picking out the pictures was easy. When it came time for the journaling, it took me on a tangent that I had totally not planned on. This class has been harder for me than I thought it would be. I am learning a lot, but the page content that Cathy has picked for her class has been something that I would never have chosen to do. When they are finished, though, I'm really glad to have done them.
So, without further talk, this is week #6....

Weekend Vacation, Moose Alley 2014
The weekend after July 4th, Paul and I went to Moose Alley in Pittsburg, New Hampshire. The intention was to look for moose.
In the late 1990's we went to a Moose Festival up here and actually saw quite a few moose. This past November we took a quick overnight snowy trip here and never saw a one. Do they hibernate? Anyhow, I wanted to go back in the summer to see if we could see a moose.
We never did, BUT, the place where we stayed was wonderful. It was an old sporting lodge called Tall Timber Lodge, located in Pittsburg, NH. There was a wonderful room near the lobby looking out onto Back Lake with couches and chairs, a wood stove, books, and puzzles. Outside were motor boats and a pontoon boat that you could rent, and kayaks and canoes that you were free to use. There were Adirondack chairs right next to the water. There was a wonderful restaurant in the lodge that the locals all love. In fact, both nights that we were there, they were booked. We did have two wonderful breakfasts there. Even if we never see another moose up there, the lodge is totally worth going back for.
Even though I covered this in my Project Life page, I decided the weekend deserved its own page!

All About You - a scrapbook page, week #4
This is Week 4 of Cathy Zielske's on-line hybrid scrapbooking class. I'm really learning a lot. This week's class did not have a digital template to work with. I'm learning that I really like digital more than manual!
Marley got new glasses last month and I really wanted to do a page on them. I really like them. They suit her. Can you believe she is 13 already?
