Throwback Thursday - Taylor and Rad
Meet Marc Taylor (left) and Mark Radtke (right). In these pictures they were about 2 1/2.
Karen and David Taylor moved into the house across the street from us a few months after we did in the Spring of 1973.
I never really knew Karen until we both had boys in September of 1974. We were surprised to find out that we both named them Mark, although her son was Marc.
They became best friends and we eventually referred to them as Taylor and Rad.
It seems incredible to me that we let them ride in the street with their Big Wheels at 2 1/2 years old. We lived on a quiet, 26 house circle, but still, 2 1/2?
When the boys were in Kindergarten, the Taylors moved to North Carolina. I really missed them, although they did come back at least once a year to visit family and we would always get together. Visits are infrequent now that their parents are gone, but at least we have Facebook to keep in touch.

DNA Update
Last year Paul and I did our DNA through Ancestry and these were our results.
Today we both got updates through Ancestry.com. They stated:
"Your DNA doesn't change, but our science does. We now have more data, so we can compare your DNA to even more populations around the world. This gives you a more precise estimate."
These are our updated results:
Paul's English went down and mine went up. I'm not surprised that his German went up since both of his grandparents were born in Germany. The only weird thing for me is that France is totally gone. I always thought my paternal grandmother's people were from France originally, then French Canada, and then across the border to upstate NY. It must be they originally came to Canada from someplace else. I wonder if I'll ever be able to find out.

2019 October Scrapbooking Pages
When I went to scrapbook the 18th annual Paul and Marley zoo picture, I realized I had forgotten to do the 17th in 2018!
These three pages are the title pages for the kids' scrapbooks for 2019
While working on the pumpkin patch pages for 2019, I realized that I had never done the pages from our pumpkin patch visit in 2017, so those pages are below.
